I have always loved how these lines encourage the listener to share her/his vulnerability.
It's OK to let others in on our need - how else can they help?
THen soon enough, it's reciprocated anyway.
Like the chorus says, "For it won't be long 'till I'm gonna need somebody to lean on."
A great song that speaks to the Unity of mankind, karma, doing unto others, BEING love to others and opening onesself to BE loved.

Another great song- one of my favorites (I can actually play this on piano!- then again, anyone could play this song on piano.) Don't let the simplistic nature of the song fool you. What is simple, I'm learning, holds the deepest meaning... and these simple words hold profound meaning- as you speak of.

I can't play it, but I'm known to burst into singing it at the end of the day at work! I too, love this song, its simplicity, its message, and its compassion.
It reminds me also of a little-known song by The Beach Boys called "Hang on to Your Ego." Hmm. I might write more about that one later.

Yeah this is one of the best songs all time... it just inspired me when im listening to this song...and every lines of this songs... have a deep meaning it in.. that will take you away...i hope more and more music can be like this one...
